Option #1:

Kimberly at the Fat Quarter shop told me she wanted to auction my Sweet Dreams that she made. We discussed what charity and I asked if there was one to support the families of the children and teachers that died at Robb Elementary school. There is one and Kimberly has put up her Sweet Dreams and 3 more quilts you can now bid on!

Project Linus National along with Uvalde CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) has decided to provide blankets to the entire school district, Pre-K through High School as well as teachers and staff.

What they can use is quilts for Middle school teen quilts and boys.

** Make A Wish Final tally  **

During the Heartfelt Charity Quilt Along, we gave each monthly block pattern away for free while asking for a suggested donation of $5 per pattern. Altogether, the generous quilting community donated $103,101, allowing us to reach our fundraising goal! Paired with the quilt auction  with Kimberly, Corey Yoder, Lisa Bongean and My quilt, then the matches made by Moda Fabrics and Fat Quarter Shop, we raised a total of $138,911 this year for Make-a-Wish.

At this time, Make-a-Wish Central & South Texas has matched six kids with Fat Quarter Shop to receive Wishes. These kids and several more will receive their special wishes thanks to donors like you. Kids like Victoria, a 7-year-old girl diagnosed with a Nervous System disorder who loves watching movies, will receive a wheelchair ramp for her home to make it more accessible. Omar, another movie lover who also loves the water, will be receiving an ADA-accessible pool! We can’t wait to see these kids receive their Wishes.
