** My Word of Year 2023 **
This is my 18th year of having a word and goals...18 years.. I really can't believe it! It started on a whim, then just seemed to continue. Some years the word really resonates with me. Other years, not so much, but that's ok.
How do I come up with a word?
Sometimes I use these questions
What do I hope will happen in 2023?
What dreams do I want to nurture?
What qualities do I want to develop?
What does my heart need?
A word might pop up when thinking about those things. Other times, like this year, I was having a chat with a friend and 'having fun' resonated with me and that is what I decided on.
How I plan to keep my word front and center
Looking - at where I can have a bit more fun with the 'every day'. like adding stickers to the journal
Making it happen - For me that means a bit more planning of fun. It doesn't happen without a plan.
Reflect Each Month I may or may not do this. Depends on what I feel lke
For January here are my top things to 'Do':
Organize!
Document at least 50 quilts from my inventory
Do Yoga every day - Join me in Jan at https://www.youtube.com/user/yogawithadriene
Walk every day that I can
Work on at least 2 UFOs each month -but maybe not in Jan.. see first bullet point

2023 - Fun is this year!
2022 - Space - I am sure there was a post or video talking about this, I can not find it. It was a rough word year, I didn't feel and I didn't do much with it.
