***GIVE AWAY of Encylopedia of Blocks from EQ!***
When I hear that Barbara Brackman and Electric Quilt would be bringing out a new updated version of the Encyclopedia of Quilting I was thrilled!
My well worn copy can be seen on my video. It's such a great resource.
This is the third edition of the Encyclopedia and it has 161 new blocks, I'm SO excited about that!
Here is a peek at the updated pages with color
And they have added photos of the blocks made up, this is fabulous!
Barbara started this documentation project years ago on index cards. She wrote down where she found quilt blocks published and some basic information. As a designer, and a person who love history, this is a much used book in my library.
It is not a pattern book. What Barbara and Electric Quilt have done is created software with the blocks that you can purchase. Blockbase is well worth it if you don't want to use the patterns without having to draft your own.
