***Row 2 - Bring Home the Christmas Tree Sew Along***
This is from the Vintage Christmas book at https://shrsl.com/2docw which is required. Pattern is on page 112.
Approach Options:
- Row by Row Approach - The quilt is made of 2 blocks. The set of 3 trees and the Car. The book directions work well for this because you have each block pattern. So you make the number of those blocks need for that week.
- All trees then All Cars Approach - Some of you will want to make ALL the tree blocks first (you'll need 4) and then make All the Car Blocks (you'll need 5)
- Cut Everything First Approach -Cut cut cut cut.. then sew sew sew sew!
AND share your photos at the end!
- Make 2 Car blocks this week, the Yellow and the Red. Click for a larger image.
- Sew Row 1 & Row 2 together
- REMINDER - Tree tops are FLAT for all but the top one
- TIP - All windows, tires, and center of the wheel are the same fabric on each car. So you could cut enough for 5 at one time.
- NOTE- If you missed this announcement -- you need an additional Fat Quarter of green tree fabric to complete the full quilt.
