I am sewing the 9" finished blocks for the Sewcialites. There are 6" and 3" versions. so tiny! The Fat Quarter shop organized this super fun 36 week sew along for us, and I love it!

This is a mock up done in my Morrison Park Fabric.
Where there is WHITE in a block it is the background fabric. This is important to know for reading the patterns. See my tip below
The pattern directions have BACKGROUND fabric.. not what you may think of as the 'background' of the block
In this case the star is white on a blue background
BUT when cutting the BACKGROUND means the white fabric. Hope this helps (I cut mine wrong the first time)
