*** cross stitch. ***
since I can't stitch the mystery cross stitch block of the month for a few months I still wanted to get this cross stitch going . My wonderful friend Cindy offered to stitch some of them for me until I'm able to:
a new pattern comes out each month. You can just buy the ones you like or you can get a subscription to the whole thing. I'm going to make each one into a little quilt and hang it on the ackfeld metal Holder:
- Prim cross stitch patterns https://shrsl.com/2e1c3
- Aurifloss https://shrsl.com/2e1bs
- Ackfeld holder https://shrsl.com/2e1c6

*** broken bones update ***
a few people have been writing me that they didn't realize I broke both of my wrists and my finger . So I'll give you a little update on where I am one month after I tripped and fell on an uneven sidewalk and broke both of my wrists and the finger on my left hand
- I'm on my third set of splints/casts since my fall June 20th
- we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with me in 2 huge splints
- I had surgery on June 30th to put plates and screws in both of my wrists and the pins in my finger. The pins will come out July 27th
- I also had carpal tunnel surgery at the same time on both of my wrists, at least I won't have to do that down the road
- This last set of casts gave me more mobility in my right hand but took away a finger on the left hand.
- I'm finding I can do a little bit with the right hand like put on my own glasses and pick up some very light things like a piece of paper
- I'm also able to hold a plastic fork and stab food if it's already cut up, this is huge
- super hubby, Gregg, has to pretty much do everything for me. Use your imagination ....you have no use of your fingers or wrists. You can't put on your own clothing ...you can't wash your hair ...you can't pull up or down your pants ....which means lots other things I can't do .. Is a huge pain and exhausting do not be able to do things yourself
- We both will be extremely glad when I can do those few things myself again
- I have appointments every 2 weeks so I'm hoping for progress each time I go in
- I am doing updates on my daily videos... please follow those https://www.youtube.com/user/PatSloan?sub_confirmation=1
