*** Taking our Pulse ***
How are you friend?
I thought it was worth repeating today my 'Let It Go!' Daily challenge. Because it's good to take a pause and be sure we are on the right track with things. Not getting to crazy. It's good to hit the reset button too and just breath a bit.
Life is upside down for so many right now.... actually for most of us. Even if your area has few virus cases, you are still needing to change most of how you operate in order to not transmit and to be safe.

*** My word of the Year ***
I feel like after all these years I'm really living my Word of the Year. One goal of 'Being Intentional' was to recap my thoughts on it each month.
- Being home for so many weeks now I find that i am more focused on being sure I get in exercise. So I've done either Yoga or Walked almost every day since the middle of January. Missing just a few days
- I'm working hard to do my normal projects and wrap up my book that had to be delayed last year. It will be all done soon except mailing the quilts. The offices are not open so I have to wait to ship.
- Looking around at my projects I know the next thing I want to do is create some space for myself to do some hand work. I have about 4 projects I can do. So will I alternate them? or just do one for awhile then switch? I'm leaning towards alternating until I get a feel if some make me happier to work on than others
- I have not been writing my my daily project journal. Do I reboot that?
- I love my Kitchen Adventures Community! It's awesome to talk about yummy foods. Join me at https://www.facebook.com/groups/KitchenAdventuresWithPat/
- My Daily videos have been very intentional. Since I have a calendar that we can all use has been great for me as I know a topic.
- Tossing in a Block a Day for our 'Stay at Home' quilt along gives us a memory of April 2020... it's not all bad, it's just what it is.
One of my biggest take aways right now is that 'Quilting makes the this isolation/Quarantine Doable' . We may not always have bandwidth do something big or important. But we do have Quilting to keep us sane in even small ways.
Let me know in the comments how you are doing
