*** Tracing applique and fusing it ***
- Use the 3 pattern pieces for the big roof
- Do you need to see closeups? my last post on the trees is done the same way. CLICK HERE
*** How close? ***
- Trace the flowers and leaves right next to each other
- Cut the shapes out at your ironing board and place on the paper
- They are small and you don't want to loose them.

*** Flower Tips ***
- Cut enough for one window box
- Take off the paper
- Place
- Pressed with your iron to fuse
- then do the next window box
*** Applique ***
- The leaves are small, use the straight stitch.
- Use a little smaller blanket stitch on the flowers. You will need to turn frequently on the flowers to get them even. As much as every stitch on the curves
- I used this Aurifil Thread, 50 wt,
*** What's Next ***
- Next time we'll do the clothes line and be able to sew the top row!
- If you want to continue to trace and fuse your applique work on the dresses
- If you want to start piecing the 2nd house go for it!
- Also if you are tracing the car, it needs reversed if you want it to look like the pattern cover. Barb (the designer) gave all the shapes in the direction of the pattern cover, so you have to decide on directional shapes, and technique you are using, the direction they need to be.

If you are making the full quilt, time to get it ready to quilt! I sewed a block a week and now have 4 blocks and need to decide on an inner border
*** Which inner border ***
I used the trimmings from the block sew and flip to make a bonus 4.5" star block (4" finished).
- Inner border is cut 1.5"
- Outer border cut 4.5"
The Big Question.. Do you like the Blue or the Peach for the inner border?
