*** UFO BUSTING ***
I have a HUGE stack of UFOs... seriously ... Maybe in December I'll count them. It's been awhile since I did that. So for this week I decided to pick something that was on the top
- Norm and Nanette have been waiting patiently for me to get back to them. I even have this tray out on the table top. So maybe I'll get some bodies cut or some Nanette faces (saying heads would be just weird.. right?)
- There is the KIT i'm using ON SALE so you can make your own Norm and Nanette.. or just pick up the pattern
- See my video about the Alphabet blocks They just need appliqued then the next step of the UFO starts
My FINISHES for last week
What UFO will you work on this week? Share a photo of your UFO for the week at the end!
*** I may just call it ALL Tidying Up ***
I've read Marie Kondo, I've read Minimalist books, and I've watched loads of tidying up videos.
Mostly because I like to be orderly. I don't like clutter. I prefer my space to feel calm.
Does that shelf look calm?
It might, everything is hidden in baskets.. sort of.. which does make it look tidy.
Because we run our business in our home, and we have no basement, no usable attic, 2 cars IN the garage (the shipping department's domain) that means all business items have to fit in the other rooms of our small home. This is my business overflow in the dining room. It isn't going away, but it could be more tidy. The baskets could be less full. I might have things I'll never make in them.
So I've been thinking of the word Tidy and how much I love it. That my challenge is for us to do 10 minutes of tidying up each day (at least) to keep things under control. And I decided I'm going to call my 'decluttering'.. tidying up.. Because it sounds more cheerful and friendly!

*** Yummy Things ***
For some reason I thought about a cake I made years ago when I lived in St. Louis. Mississippi Mud Cake. It's the reason I bought large industrial sheet pans to bake in. I could not seem to find my recipe (but I will!) this is similar to what I remember. We had to have pecan. When I worked an Anheuser-Bush we were ALL foodies before that was a 'thing' and bringing food to the office was a huge part of working there. We even had a recipe in our department's monthly newsletter
