After the video in the post will be a short tutorial with photos for those who have trouble watching video. And at the end is the assignment for this week. 

• REQUIRED Pattern-  Pattern only incase you already have my fabric = 4 project sizes

• DATES - Oct 10 to Oct 24
• Number of blocks- Four
• Runner SIZE -  24" x 78"
• Technique - All Pieced

*** Pressing  &  Pinning Tips ***

• For the the Sew and Flips of the 4 corner blocks, I pressed the green to the LIGHT side. In this photo I show it folded over so you can tell what I mean
• The other side is blue and that is pressed to the blue fabric

• I press these seams open

• With the seams pressed open the bulk is distributed for sewing this unit

*** Sewing the block units ***

I demo this in the video.

• Place the unit with the intersection on the TOP so you can see it

• Use the trimmer to cut away the triangles
• I demo this in the video

I sewed on my Jubilant.  I noticed in the video I was zoomed in pretty far so you could not see the button I pushed

It is the gray circle. In the next video I'll pull out so you can see that.

*** Your Assignment for this week ***

• Sew all 4 blocks
• Decide on a table runner or 4 block setting.
• Have your batting and backing ready to quilt next week! 

I put Norm the Gnome on the wall to help me be motivated to work on that quilt again. I need to cut out bodies or make Nanette faces.. which would you do?
