My UFO update for the week, plans and how the heck do more UFOs happen? I have clue
UFO (UnFinished Object) Friday
Status:
With this heavy travel schedule still going on I've only managed to keep the sew alongs going and I've not been able to work on UFOs or new fun projects. I did get my Traffic jam units out to use to sew as I was making other blocks and it worked great! I got another unit done on the bottom left.
So should I do one more row or 2 rows and another column? how big should I go?

For This Week:
- Back to this goal ... Put binding on at least one quilt that sits in my binding pile
IN THE SPIRIT of being accountable, at the end share a photo of the UFO you are working on at the end and tell me about your UFO accomplishments in the comments!
Discovery!
While sewing the Ultimate Beginner blocks I end up with these fairly large trimmed sew and flip units. They might trim to 2.25" inches.
So I used them to start and stop sewing other patchwork and guess what happened?
I created another UFO!! ACK!!! I have to trim them all, press them, decide what to do with them.. Ugh... but I will do it. Sometimes you need something mindless right?
ULTIMATE Beginners Sew Along Posts
ADD this is back to go ON the RECORD!
When i get back from this trip I'm going to cut the sashings and get this out onto my rolling studio assistant to sew as I make other things. If they are all out I will do it. But stored in a bin i have no chance of it happening.

Recipe:
When fall rolls in I want to bake! I'm a baker at heart and love the smell of something yummy in the oven. I've been a huge fan of Smitten Kitchen for years (see her eggplant recipe, to die for!) and this is another winner from her kitchen.
