The Fat Quarter shop has this darling trick or treat bag pattern, and when Kimberly asked me to make it up with some new fabric to show you I had to jump at the chance to use this panel by Cori Dantini!! It is the cutest panel ever AND I put together a kit if you want the same fabric i used.
I looked around for a really great fabric to go with this panel and found these dots. Looking for a stripe I wanted something that was different, maybe black and orange would be good. But then when I saw the black and silver and my eyes lit up, this was just perfect!!

I'm creating a new body piece with the panel
- using a square ruler line up the diagonal from corner to corner
- Trim to 9.5" x 9.5" look at all the sides for trimming
- The really cute thing about the bag is that the stripe is 'flange' so it dimensional!

*** BONUS Table Mats with Panels ***
The second page of the bonus download is the place mat using 2 fabrics and the panel. There are several panels in the cut you get, I kept these and sent the rest to my friend Cindy to use.
- I will do simple quilting to make it fun later tonight and reload the photo when they are finished
- Looking around in my stash for backing I found a buffalo plaid, or I might go with a place print. Whatever I use it will be from my stash
- You can make a pillow by doing just the one round of border on the panel, that will be cute!
- Now to see if the shipping department notices them tonight
