I LOVE this UFO (un-finished object) and doing a status, do you?
Today I'm writing this on the rood as we head home .. with a recipe, some good reads that are suggested for us and a bit more!
UFO (UnFinished Object) Friday
Status:
With this heavy travel schedule I've not done much on my UFOs but I have a plan to get a bit done before the next event. AND I did sew one Hexie block this past week! The hexie is more of an 'on going' rather than a true UFO ... that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
For This Week:
- Put binding on at least one quilt that sits in my binding pile
- Get the borders on BOTH Main street
IN THE SPIRIT of being accountable, at the end share a photo of the UFO you are working on at the end and tell me about your UFO accomplishments in the comments!
I am I am!!
I mentioned this on my Fireside chat and I showed you how easy it was to cut the layer cake with the ruler.. SO fun!
So I'm going to do it, this week i'm going to cut up the layer cake to make this. A friend once told me if we don't work on a project when we have the excitement for it, we may never get back to it. I think on that a lot. This will be a REALLY easy quilt to make and I'll really love it. Starting a new project makes me SO happy and I want that 'new project buzz'... do you feel like that?
Should i cut and sew some on my Fireside Chat Monday?

This one is being read by so many.. are you interested in it? Carol said...Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens is an excellent read. My sister-in-law recommended it and I finished it a few days ago. It was hard to put down--about a girl who has experienced rejection throughout her life. Womanhood looks to be the same... Read it and see what happens. The end was not what I expected, either.

Sharon said...I have Read quite a few books by Sally Goldenbaum, she also writes Knitting mystery books. I also read both of the Queen Bee books. Some of her books also have knitting patters with them. I have made two wedding shawls knitted for my grand daughters when or before they got married and I have also knit one for my great granddaughter. These are special for them. Also Kristan Higgins I just finished one of her books fairly new and very good. Ann Hazelwood another good author. I am working on finishing a valentine block of month quilt.
- I'd love for you to Recommend a book in the comments below, tell me why you recommend them and I'll start featuring those on UFO Friday
