Happy UFO Friday! Each Friday show you what I finished, my next UFO (un-finished object) project for the week, and today some things with my fabric and a yummy recipe!
UFO (UnFinished Object) Friday
Each Friday pick a UFO to work on. Spend as much time on it as you can. That might mean only 10 minutes. Or you may end up working on it and and on all work. If you have something almost done, work on that, it feels GREAT to finish!
I have 800 bindings to do (not really .. you know that right?) And this week I got the binding on my Secret Garden from.. mmmm.. cough .. 2016.
Status:
Here it is just prior to binding. I still need to hand stitch down the sleeve and write the label.. but I consider it 'done' just not 'done done'

For This Week:
- I am going to focus JUST on getting the sashing on the other 5 rows on this version of my Splendid Sampler 1 quilt.
- It needs a name too. so think on that for me! I think it looks like salt water taffy!

These Blossoms prints by my friend Christopher are the Basics for August, they are so nice with this tiny little scattered print. Just enough so it does not look solid. I'll be getting the white with blue for the sashing on my Ultimate Beginner's done with his blue fabric.

How would you use this pot roast? I'm thinking shredded on toasted rolls with grilled onions and swiss cheese, yummy sandwiches!

- I have been reading a book about Heather Ross's life called 'How to Catch a Frog'. You might own some of her amazing fabric. She was raised by a single mom with her sister. I'm still in the growing up part of the book. I like her writing style as I can pick it up and read a bit at a time. She was raised more unconventional since they were very poor. I love the part about her wonderful Aunt that did fun things with them
