MY TIPS:
- REALLY BE ON YOUR 'A' game when making this block. There are unusual sizes and it's easy to mess them up, a friend share that, wink!
- Use a board, use a design board, use a design board. ... even for simple blocks.
- Mark your pieces too.I place an Alphabittie on each

MY TIPS:
- The star can EASILY get messed up, my friend told me about it. There are 2 different size pieces you attach the star points to. Make sure you read carefully.
- I put the easy strip set that needs sewn on top of my machine so that I could could it as I stopped and started star point units. That way I didn't get that strip set confused with other pieces in the pumpkin
- I'm sewing on my Baby lock Solaris.. a dream machine!
TIP:
The block is really not complicated as long as you keep track of the direction of things.
- DOUBLE and TRIPLE check before sew as it's easy to reverse units and then you won't have a chain
All my 2nd version of a single block (with a bonus extra stripe pumpkin) together!

Some of you pre-ordered a kit just like the book. Those are all sold out. So below I have a suggested starter bundle and background so you can buy that to make this with very similar fabric.
This book also has a darling pumpkin table runner option that is 16" x 58" if you want to make that for the sew along. I'm thinking of making a few of the blocks with the starter for a little wall hanging. Stay tuned to see if that happens!
