Happy UFO Friday! Each Friday show you what I finished, my next UFO (un-finished object) project for the week, and today some things with my fabric and a yummy recipe!
UFO (UnFinished Object) Friday
I tell you what, if you want to light a fire under your UFO work, tell 200,000+ of your closest friends what you intended to do for the week, then give them a status the next week! This has really made me focus on doing at least a little bit.
Status: This last week I add not one but TWO rows to my Splendid Sampler!
Last week I announced to get binding on the flag runner (at https://blog.patsloan.com/2019/06/happy-free-flag-pattern-day.html )
For This Week:
- That binding didn't happen so I'm rolling that goal forward to this week
- plus I added to get the binding for my Secret Garden quilt also cut if not put on.
- And to sew on another row of Splendid Sampler blocks.

Bonnie Lane Coming SOON Sew alongs!
In September we'll be sewing with my Bonnie lane fabric, so excited! There are 3 different kits.
The first is this wonderful quilt designed by my friend Barb for my fabric line! The car, the dresses, and even quilts on the clothes line! I'll be giving you applique tips as we sew this one.

Recipes:
For some reason I'm really into pasta salads this summer. It's never been 'my thing' before but now I'm really enjoying them. Easy to do, easy to add what you and your family like, and it doesn't take a lot of work. You can change it up too!
My Go to place for recipes is Pinch of Yum, Lindsay and her darling family always have something I like. Add be sure to make the Cinnamon Sugar Apple cake, you'll be in heaven!
Ultimate Beginner Quilt Along:
- I can't wait for this! So many of you that have joined up want to learn to quilt, or know someone you want to teach to quilt. This is also a skill builder. So if you are self taught and want to fill in the knowledge gaps, this will do it!
