Happy UFO Friday! Each Friday show you my project for the week. Plus today I have a link to a neat article on Double gauze fabric that my friend Jeni Baker wrote, a great Gadget and it's inexpensive, and be sure you entered my fabric giveaway!
I love that each week Friday will be our day to touch base on that UFO we want to work on, or maybe.. finish!
UFO (UnFinished Object) Friday
I got this many rows sewn from last week. I'll continue this plus add a binding for this week.
One thing I've got to do is a 'mind game'.. once I have 5 rows done then I'll be very motivated to have '5 left', '4 left', '3 left'. I like doing a 'count down' as i love seeing that ticker get smaller.
Are you a 'count down' or 'count up' person? Does it motivate you to see that you roll DOWN to 'zero' or would you say ' 6 done', '7 done', '8 done' and see it roll UP to the final number? Leave me a comment below
2nd UFO goal for the week is to get this binding on! I LOVE the wave, a pattern I've had done a few times. So effective for a flag!

This is a fantastic tool for both Holding your needle to get it inserted into your machine, and then threading the needle if you don't have an automatic needle threader.

I love all the things my friend Jeni Baker does. She just wrote an article about making quilts with 'Double Gauze' fabric. I've wanted to try it for a long time and never have. This motivated me to purchase some and so a simple quilt. Maybe even Jeni's Plus quilt!
