Thanks so much for the hints about HSTs! I am starting a quilt of red, white, and blue for my husband's quilt to commemorate his 22 years in the U S Navy! He has been biggest and proudest supporter of my venture into quilting. Now I honor him.

Hello all, my current quilt is the mini Swoon, I am using red, blue, taupe, green and orange. All on a white back ground and I need to work a charcoal boarder in with red Gingham binding. ❤️🥰❤️

Gale

Dianne

Fun fire side this week. I'm sorry I didn't watch it when it first posted but I found some time to watch it later. Thanks for the 1/2 square triangle tips. I have a ruler for 1/2 square triangles that leaves very little waste and it has made my life a bit easier. I was working on my Cross Stitch while watching, I try to stitch a little every night.

I have two quilts in I am working on right now. One I am using as a "leader and ender" project while I work on the other. The first is navy, teal, pink, and ivory. The second is Christmas fabrics with a scottie print so the colors are red, grean, black and white.

Janice M

I am working on a tiny house quilt that has every color imaginable and a patriotic quilt with scrappy reds, navy and cream that I started last summer. Time to get it done.

Christi

Every color there is my HST quilt. It will be wonderful.

Kelley

I love your chats! My husband watched it with me tonight. Of course he’s working on the electronics of the show. Haha. But the new line in the beginning, love it! Need it! I will shop for it tomorrow. Also, sprinkling the stars in would be great. Can’t wait to see what you do!! Thanks for the chat tonight!! Safe travels. PS I always stop, look, and listen to your show. I wouldn’t want to miss anything.

Kelley

Oh, i forgot, I’m working on two quilt tops that have animals prints and in the works is a border for a panel for my grand daughter and its filled with pinks and purples, blues, yellows. Not your typical rainbow 😃

 Barbara

Thank you so much for the hints on sewing HST together. I am teaching myself to sew and actually enjoy making them. I was just never sure how to keep my points. I am currently working with shades of red, browns and creams.

Val

Sue

Hi Pat,
I’m doing a baby quilt. Has center panel with all the primary colors. Then, because it’s for a boy...you guessed it...the borders are blue!

Judy Forkner

I am working on a red & white quilt. I started it as a challenge quilt for my local quilt guild last year (2018 in April). The challenge was the game of clue--guess who done it?! I was also going to enter it in my state quilt guild's quilt show in September (theme was red & white quilts). I was unable to complete the quilt for either event, due to health problems... Trying again now, because I like what I started! It is still slow going, but I hope to finish one of these days!

Montse

Currently making what looks like a very summery block (your pattern for the week). It has soft yellow, orange, teal, gold, small red, peach and teal flowers and some light blue. These colors make me happy! Thanks for sharing with us.
