I love a Day in May .... it's Aurifil day! Does it rhyme? I hope it rhymes. It really doesn't rhyme but let's pretend. Alrighty... onto the fun!
If you are alert to the day of the month while reading this you'll notice it is not yet the 15th, but it will be very soon!
I'm on a travel day the 14th & 15th to the trade show and wanted to post this prior to leaving.
At the end are all my blocks together and the last Charity block.
On to Aurifil! My Aurifil designer this month is Andrea Tsang Jackson of 3rd Story Workshop. Her story about this block is amazing and you are going to love meeting here. And remember to make and enter your block at the Aurifil site for a chance to win a box of thread!
My Interview and block are At the Aurifil Website, read and come back!
I always select a different color group to make my blocks in and this year I'm having a blast with these juicy colors!
This year I'm working with
- A Feeling Peachy Bundle
- A set of Green from 'Well Said'
- Navy fabrics like this Dot & this bow tie
- With some White.

The Last block for the Charity Quilt along to support this year’s charity Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas!
Due to my travel I put this post out early.
On Wed the 15th you can go HERE to download the pattern
The Fat Quarter shop is offering all of the patterns to make this quilt for free, they just ask that you donate $5 per pattern download to this amazing organization and 100% of the proceeds from the pattern downloads will be donated to Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas. The Fat Quarter Shop partnered with Moda Fabrics again who has generously worked with the them since they started doing these quilt alongs to benefit different organizations.
My quilt is being made with Sweet Tea Fabric, and will be auctioned to raise even more funds.
