First let me tell you about my lights...
People ask me what light I use in my studio, this is it. I have 3 of these and use them everyday.
Features I love
- When doing close up work, or by your machine, you can direct the light exactly as you need it. See the post shows you how flexible the arm is.
- There are easy to use touch buttons on the base. you just tap to turn on, turn off.
- You also just tap to change to one of the 3 temperatures of lighting. I use the white when I am working. Then in the evening when I want to soften it I'll either turn it town or change to the warmer temperature
- I've used these lights for years and love them!
On the 1st and the 15th we'll be sewing a set of blocks for the Charity Quilt along to support this year’s charity Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas!
Kimberly, the owner of the Fat Quarter shop, has a video talking about why this is important to her. Watch HERE
The Fat Quarter shop is offering all of the patterns to make this quilt for free, they just ask that you donate $5 per pattern download to this amazing organization and 100% of the proceeds from the pattern downloads will be donated to Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas. The Fat Quarter Shop partnered with Moda Fabrics again who has generously worked with the them since they started doing these quilt alongs to benefit different organizations.
I will also be donating my quilt again to be auctioned for charity!
Each release of the pattern we will make more than one block.
Some are big and some are small!
Here are all of mine for week 1! I am loving the light on dark.
Fabric is Sweet Tea and the Bundles are in!
Moda sent me early fabric to work with. It will be in Kimberly's shop in a few weeks if you want to make your quilt like mine!
