Kicking off the 2019 Charity Sew along today that I do with The Fat Quarter shop & Moda Fabric.
I am joining the 2019 Charity sew along, I think it's my 5th year
Kimberly tells you about the project and Charity she selected this year.
This year’s charity quilt along will benefit Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas! The Fat Quarter shop is offering all of the patterns to make this quilt for free, they just ask that you donate $5 per pattern download to this amazing organization and 100% of the proceeds from the pattern downloads will be donated to Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas. The Fat Quarter Shop partnered with Moda Fabrics again who has generously worked with the them since they started doing these quilt alongs to benefit different organizations.
I will also be donating my quilt again to be auctioned for charity!

I'll be using with a similar but slightly different fabric line. I'll be sharing that once it's available!
Now onto UFOs!
I used my awesome Quilter's Planner to list my UFOs
- True confession - at 39 .... I stopped counting.
- I am sure I have at least 10 more around here.
I really could not decide which to select for January... and so I went for one of the largest that needs binding.
It's a Scrappy Shoofly from my FREE Pattern. I added initial blocks so this one is for me to use.
I think a black polka dot binding might be in order, or red.. have to decide!
