When my friend Beverly of Flamingo Toes wrote and told me about her book and tour, I was so excited to see her book! She does fantastic tutorials at her website so I knew the directions would be amazing. She has loads of step by step photos for each project.
Look how cute the cover is!!
She has 8 super darling projects in this book ranging from the quilt to darling coasters. All in her signature style of easy and fun to make things. Bev used her own fabric line, then did each project in a 2nd colorway so you can see how it looks.
One of my favorite projects is this big Dresden cushion!
I need to get the right insert and I'm making one of these.
The project I wanted to do first is this cute zippy bag
Bev added such sweet details with the wee little bow and a lace zipper.
I made one with my extra camping fabrics for my niece who is a forest ranger!
The ribbon is some that Jane gave me from Australia. I definitely need to start collecting sweet ribbons to use
