I have been sewing along with Lori Holt and the Fat Quarter Shop using her Sewing Bee book (on sale!) AND the sew along part is almost done. This is my 2nd time on the tour to share the Number 6...
If you have been CRAZY good and sewed the blocks assigned each week, today is 6 & 7. I'm using the 6" size blocks.
I've made one of each letter and number and some of the images to put into a quilt. Is the quilt ready to show you? mmmmm....
I had GREAT intentions of showing you a top today, but i will in the future! I'm making it for my nieces two little boys
And I made it scrappy 'I spy' kind of a quilt. Most of the fabrics have some sort of image they can hunt for.

The book has tons of darling images & projects, here is another block that will be in my Alphabet quilt.
Besides making the cover quilt, the book is full of project ideas, these are just a few! I love the idea of a set of letters for learning the alphabet. I can remember teaching my younger brother with flash cards.
