FYI, if you are doing my camping, I switched unit name placement on the one layout page. Most of you didn't notice as you are looking at the drawing and know where to put what you sewed. But if you want a new version GO HERE to get that single page to update your records.
Time for a Project Round up! you HAVE to read to the end to see the latest cool pattern find, and it's available as a PDF!

I love being able to try new tools, the ruler is replacing my really skinny one near my sewing machine, the pins went into my vintage tomato pincushion and I think the bandaids are going into my teaching suitcase! I also want to try out the needlecase, I am THRILLED that I got the RED ONE! The Butterflies & Berries is not staying rolled up this time, keep reading!

I was talking to a friend recently that said that when she saw a really cute design that she wanted to make, she REALLY need to just cut it up and start sewing. Make time for it. Otherwise holding it until later becomes a slow death to have the energy to make it, it just sits.
When she said that a light blub went off in me! That is what I do, when the project might only take a little time to do, I put it aside to 'save it' until later.
Later never comes.
Guess what.. these cute butterflies are getting sewn up as we speak.. well.. inbetween the speaking... I'm EXCITED! Plus the bella solids are on sale, so I can use up this great chunk of blue and get some more!

I'm somewhat caught up on the alphabet!
When i get back from this teaching trip I'll get them all out, and catch up again, and make another image.
I'm thinking of doing 2 of these for very young nephews as 'eye spy'.. what do you think?
* There is a great new pattern to use a jelly roll to make a rug ***
A RUG!! Just like the one that @MTWEVANS made with MY Hometown Girl jellyroll!
You can see more jelly roll rugs at Instagram #JellyRollRugAlong
When I was a kid, my mom got into doing braided wool rugs for awhile. And if she had finished one, it would have looked like this! So now I MUST make one.. right?
