My friend Kerry & Sue were the masterminds behind the ugly sweater sew along last year, and this year they has a new one!
This year they has loads of inspiration for these fun Christmas mugs. What I decided to do was dig DEEP into my box of Christmas Fabric. I knew this Michael Miller Holiday Hostess fabric was printed years ago, and I have a coveted FQ of it! (I used the bottom right one in Sue's pattern HERE)
So i felt this was a worthy project to cut out a Holiday Hostess to use...
But now I might be hyperventilating a tiny bit..
Cutting a piece of fabric I can't get more of.. eep! Do you do that too... save and save? I've decided I better start using these fabrics and enjoying them. I don't enjoy them must sitting in a box!
I think she looks marvelous on my stand.
I thought it would be fun to celebrate with a giveaway.. I still have a few layercakes of my Sunday Drive, so why not spread the love!
What piece of fabric has you kept for so long and never cut into?

Karen is our winner, she said "I have a pice of salmony orange cotton sateen with sea horses on it. Kind of tone on tone. It was my Mom's. I think it was meant for a fun cocktail dress. Someday I will use it in a beach themed quilt."
