When I design quilt patterns I really think about the theme and what I would have fun making. For my fabric line Sunday Drive, I designed 'Take the Roundabout' in my signature multiple size block format. You've been doing my solstice, so you have an idea of how much fun it is do multi size blocks for one quilt!
Our Take the Round About sewalong is now on the last large section. I LOVE your quilts you've shared, they are fabulous!
Mine is is created with a mix of my Sunday Drive cotton & batik Fabrics!
We wrap up with the bird unit, and one of my favorite flower shapes. There will be one more post in Oct to finish it up!
Once you do this unit, you can attach it to the one above
- Make this Star portion of this unit, next month will be the blocks under the star
Your pattern has a page towards the end where the sections are shown. That is what I'm using to split the project into showing you a section a month and assigning what to work on. The Prior section posts are HERE
In order to create these style of quilts, you do some different construction. Use the diagrams in my pattern and you'll be just fine.
This is a perfect quilt to do 'Quilt as you Go' and I love THIS CLASS for teaching that. Each of the 5 sections is easy to handle.
I may speed this up a bit as many of you have just zoomed on and even finished.
Down below post whatever part you are working on. This same share will be used for each post so jump right in!
