When I design quilt patterns I put my heart and soul into the design. For my fabric line Sunday Drive, I designed 'Take the Roundabout' in my signature multiple size block format. You've been doing my solstice, so you have an idea of how much fun it is do multi size blocks!
When I designed this quilt I wanted to add some of the things that we see on our Sunday drive, and one of those is a roundabout! They seem to be coming back in style for traffic control, we find them on our travels more now than we used to.
Applique, stars, blocks and settings areas, all using my Sunday Drive Fabric!
On page 11 of the pattern is the pattern grouped into 5 sections for sewing the top.
We'll go clockwise, starting at the top left of the quilt to sew the units each month. For June & July we'll focus on this first unit and prepping applique shapes.
Your Assignment for two weeks
