Do you do that.. check in with yourself? here are some of my thoughts on the year, and I'm going to list my pros and my cons... as it's so easy for us to slip into the 'i didn't do this.. i didn't do that mode' and forget to celebrate what we DID accomplish
Things I am happy with
- At the trade show Jane Davidson & I got to have some time together. The Splendid Sampler quilts were shown to all and we had not seen them all together, it was thrilling!
- My Koala Studio makeover went smoothly and I'm loving every single piece of it! Best thing that I ever did was redo my studio space.
- I've been happy and healthy and I am thankful for that.
- My Solstice project went exactly as I hoped. I made a quilt from winter to summer solstice! Plus it was a huge hit with all of you! It seems you loved busting stash AND making a big quilt!
- Fabulous visit with family earlier this year, at the beach. what could be better! Not much in my book.
- Celebrated 37 years with the Shipping Department, we are happy to have found each other all those years ago.
Things to work on
- I am on a quest to bring down my unfinished project count to a dull roar. And I've not done very well with that. So I'm looking hard a what projects I really want to spend time or money on to finish... and some might be going to new homes
- More exercise is always on my list, and it needs to become a proirity
- Fit in some relaxing sewing. I still have not found the handwork project I want to marry for every and a day.. but I am not giving up! It's out there!
