Block 6 of my 2017 Mystery Block of the Month is a fairy tale that has intrigued me since I was a child...so I had to include it in our 'Children's Library'
‘The Princess and the Pea’... a stack of mattress (quilts for us!) and she still feels that pea and can not sleep.. how does that work my children's brain wondered? I am one of 'those kids' with all kind of things that bother me (I share one at the download page). Hans Christian Andersen wrote many tales and now I want to read more as an adult and his writing is fun!

My block design is more simple, as my feeling is that June kicks off summer, and we have a bit less time at the machine.
PLUS I put this block side by side and turned them... you could bust a ton of scraps with this one and make an awesome quilt.. want to see?

My block has 3 colors, but lots of fabrics.
