Block 2 of my 2017 Mystery Block of the Month, is a set of books to add to our 'Children's Library'
When selecting a book for the month, sometimes I'll look to friend, like last month. Or this month I contacted my mom & brothers to find out what book they remember from years ago.
I'm a few years older than one brother, and 12 yrs older than the other.
And I read a LOT of books... so it was often my job to read to the boys. Finding fun 'action packed' books that boys liked would mean turning to some books like Curious George!
one of my personal favorites was Curious George and the Puppies... I LOVE puppies!!!
Do you read Curious George to anyone now... or years ago? I'd love to know!

For my aqua/red quilt I'm going controlled scrappy using a lot of my Moda Fabric lines and added in other random things. Look for my "Sunday Drive" from Moda to be in your stores soon!
But you know.. I always wonder how it would look with other fabric.... so my second set of blocks will be in pink, cream, and grey. I've never done a pink and gray quilt before!
