Block 7 of my 2017 Mystery Block of the Month is a trip down memory lane to build my fairy tale 'library' of favorite Children's books. This month I'm delighted that it features not only a little girl.. but farm animals!
‘Charlotte's Web' is a little girls dream... children who have talking animals.. oh yes!
This is my favorite quote from the book. Normally you see just the first part, this is the whole thing
“You have been my friend. That in itself is a tremendous thing. I wove my webs for you because I liked you. After all, what's a life, anyway? We're born, we live a little while, we die. A spider's life can't help being something of a mess, with all this trapping and eating flies. By helping you, perhaps I was trying to lift up my life a trifle. Heaven knows anyone's life can stand a little of that.” ― E.B. White, Charlotte's Web
I did a little research on the book and you'll find that on the download page....

I have been working with the 3 x 6 Bloc Loc flying geese ruler to test it out, it's perfect for triming these square in a square blocks!
Flip it over to see the grooves in the ruler, those are key
For the Square in a Square block, once you have all 4 sides on, you trim
Sliding the Bloc loc ruler up so it pressing against the seams 'locks' it tight.
Trim the excess away!
