- American Patchwork & Quilting Magazine in Des Moines Iowa, www.allpeoplequilt.com/blog
As a designer the biggest thrill EVER was the first time American Patchwork & Quilting invited me to submit a design for their issue. I think I was floating on air for days and days! Since then they have become not only an amazing business partner, but very good friends. I went to South Africa with the Editor to teach, I have had many quilts published in their issues, and I now Produce & host their online Talk show. Above is a photo of Lindsay, who is my editor for the show. order back issues

When I'm told 'have you seen the cool stuff xyz' is doing, I go see! After all, it's my job to find cool stuff. Visiting Mathew's Instagram feed is a treat, he not only creates amazing woven things, but creates a LOT of them! And I love when he shows us the work in progress. His photography is pretty incredible and he writes very fun stories to go with everything... I am sure he must be writing a book. I was also delighted to ask Mathew to join the 2017 Aurifil Design team, yeah us! Being a Late Nov Baby I have a fondness for Turkey quilts.. this is Mathew's latest .. Stunning! who ever would have thought I'd call a turkey that? Now it's time to visit "Mr. Domestic' (ps...He used this free turkey pattern from Wisconsin Quilting)
