Heather and I don't leave near each other, but I was able to spend time with her when I went to teach at her local quilt shop.. how fun is that! She is a Baby Lock ambassador, a teacher and pattern designer. Her website is full of useful tips and awesome information. If you need to know how to do something, I'm sure she has the information, she IS the Mega-Tip Queen!

Sometimes the word that best describe designer is 'Clever'. Amy hosts super clever, fun sew alongs. And she is what I call 'Quilting bi-linqual'... what does that mean? She is really good at Paper Piece designing and really good a regular pieced pattern designs, Bi-Linqual! Recently she ran a sew along with her coffee cup paper pieced pattern and for each block she wrote a story to celebrate the new season of Gilmore Girls.. how fun is THAT?? You will want to start following her for constant inspiration, and Get her Intentional Piecing books.. fabulous!

I want to BE Melissa the Prolific quilter when I grow up! This woman is a speed demon with her making.. blink and Melissa has made, quilted and put on binding for 10 more quilts. She is an incredible designer and her Irish chain book is awesome, she came up with so many clever ways to create an Irish Chain. And she is a super good friend for jumping in to help me with a massive big project that was on deadline for the quilt being quilted and she got the job done for me.. I could not ask for better friends...oh ... her mom helped on that one too!

When I am looking for clean lines, where I want the quilt and the fabric to blend in a very soothing way, I go see what Amy has.
