Annabelle Hammer

Pat, thanks so much for Carolyn's interview. I recently retired and have become involved with the Project Linus Fairfax County chapter. Generous ladies have donated fabric, orphan blocks and pre-cuts to us. There are a dozen tubs, boxes and bags piled up in my sewing room now. Plus yesterday I got 5 bags of fleece from a local high school teacher because I'll be helping them with their community service program. So my sewing room is starting to look like a hoarder's house! I figured if I just sew and quilt fast enough, the fabric will disappear. But I'm only one person and the fabric isn't disappearing fast enough after all. So I have to find a better way to organize and store them instead of bags on the floor and the couch. I will buy Carolyn's book ASAP. :-)

Good to hear from you Annabelle!! It sounds like you need a charity team, and maybe a sr center, church or community center people to help you sew. Good luck!
