Just ordered my panel in the green. Looking forward to this.

T ennis

I don't get it....how does the panel make the quilt?

Love North Woods - it's Norwegiany. The gorgeous red & white quilt pictured above - is the pattern in your Teach Me to Quilt book?

I learned to FMQ using panels.... all kinds of panels. Whenever I have been on hiatus from FMQ-ing ... I use a panel to get back in the groove. LOVE panels.

Tina a panel is generally the width of fabric, which is 40" wide, then some length. You add borders if you want it bigger

This is a perfect size for practicing on.

The one I"m showing you in my article is a table topper, like I said, but the link i gave is to a lot of other options

Kathy the quilt IS in my book, I do say that.. it's called Cherry Pie

Joan Baldwin

Yep- am ordering your panel & the great red&white backing now!
I also love panels!!😻
Thanks for all you do !! JoaniB

Well, this looks like fun! Wow, I have so many projects AND I forgot to photograph My Mystery Garden top. (I am away from home for a couple of weeks!). I have a couple of stray panels but I do not believe there are any quite as beautiful as the partridge - dove /hearts fabrics as your choice, Looks Like I need to make an order soon! Looking forward to getting your book in the mail too! Congratulations on another huge success! I love your tutorials books. They have been so helpful in my journey learning to sew, quilt and finish!

excited my book is arriving and excited you are all going to join me in panel love.. wink! The contest might be closed now, Martingale is running it at their website

Penny M

What a great idea using a panel and I just realized I happen to have a Christmas panel and some precuts, yardage & thread to match. ;D I think all I need now is the book.

Sandy Davis

I bought your book and am enjoying it, have tons of panels but am 77 years old and do not have photo or phone compatible to show you pictures. Can I still participate? Please!

pat sloan

yes of course you can Sandy!

Shirley Helm

I have several panels I want to do! Yay! Thank you.

sarah lewis

My book and panel arrived today. Can't wait to get started!

Cindy Shores

When will you start the quilt along with the panel?

Cheryl Parker

For some reason, I picked up about 6 different panels for baby quilts about 2 months ago. These will be perfect to learn on. I just ordered your book. I took 3 different free motion classes, about 10 years ago, and just didn't enjoy the process, but, I'm ready to try again.

I have several panels and I am ready to do this panel quilt along. So excited to learn to FMQ on my new machine. I feel like a kid with a new toy.

Cheryl Parker

Other than this post, which I found thru your email, I can't find anything about Teach me to Machine Quilt on your blog or site. I have the book, but, this post is from October, and I can't find when you start, or anything. I've looked under so many things on your header. Where do I find these, or sign up for them, like I did the Splendid Sampler?
