I am also going to be 'one of those people' and do some hexies on the road using Helen Stubbings techniques and papers. The papers are SUPER thin, have a fusible on one side and you leave them IN the hexie... i am in love! My travel kit includes the adorable hexie carrier (out of stock right now but will be back!), the moda needlecase, Aurifil 80 wt thread.. (SO GORGEOUS!) and I put it in my personalized by Moda bag!
You might want to get Helen's Class so you know how to do this
I am going to be squeezing in fusing and stitching Summerfield.
I decided to start with the sunflowers.. the flower that makes me SO happy!
This is a masterpiece kind of project, an indulgence. All the pieces are fused for us.. I believe there might just be a few kits left if you hurry
And I had to take the villages off the design wall so I can work on book projects. I used my numbers to clip the rows together so I have them in perfect order for when I get back to them!
AND.. look at the CUTE new tins!!! I decided to put the numbers in one, and the letters in the other.. Life is so much better when we have cute things.. don't you agree?
