My friends at the Fat Quarter shop joined up with my buddy Anne Sutton of Bunnyhill for a super fun table runner project, perfect for decorating this fall, and gosh.. we have TONS of time to get it done!
This is Part 2
I'm doing a slightly different version, I'm making white BOO pumpkins! .
The itty bitty pinwheels are so darn adorable!
Pat's TIP - Because I have a LIGHT moon on a DARK background, I need to put 2 layers so that the black does not shadow through. I used a bella solid moon on the bottom, cut slightly smaller than the main moon.
Fused them both down
Then did a blanket stitched with my Babylock Crescrendo and Aurifil 50wt thread!
A perfect combination don't you think?
And I might need more of that shade of thread...
My runner center!! Do you like my Boo Pumpkins?
Next up... Stitching some Bat Eyes.... 12 wt Aurifil in a nice chocolate brown
With a little satin stitchy kind of things... I made up as I went.. it was one of those moments.
Deciding on my binding... the stripe
And the backing.. polka dots!... now for the runner.......
My runner top all ready for quilting! Do you like my Boo Pumpkins?
