I am doing a week of events.. first was Chicagoland area, then in Detroit... here are photos from the first part of this tour!
We love to stop for planes, trains and automobiles (+motorcycle) things! At the stop at the new York Central Train museum i found MY train!! AQUA cars and caboose!!! I believe a nice black engine pulling them would be just fine.. with red accents... right?

The Shipping Department got to be the engineer....
Then we headed to Lockport and stopped at Thimbles Quilt shop to set up for class the next day!
The shop is totally adorable!!!
Checked into the hotel, then hurried over to the Riverwalk Quilters guild for my talk...
where I got to see Splendid Sampler blocks!!!
which included the Splendid Sampler makers!
I signed a few blocks that night.. so fun!!
And i signed my giveaway tshirt!!!!
here is jennifer in class the next day with her completed top.. she sewed fast!

I tried to 'borrow' that old farm table... I'm sure they wouldn't miss it
