My friend Jane Davidson and I are on the short run to the first block, mine!, of The Splendid Sampler™ project being shared with everyone!! Tick Tock! And to get ready.. I have a giveway .. because that's the way I roll...
I can't wait to see your blocks as we start this project. There is a lot of fun new techniques to learn, and first might be working with small shapes and small blocks. During the last 8 months that we have been preparing for this launch, I have learned a lot myself!
One is GREAT tools are needed.
Upgrade that ruler, get a design board, add in some cute little scissors..
And most important, be sure you do a test unit or a test block. The blocks above are our Bonus block we gave everyone for trying out their fabrics.
I did a traditional one, a mix of my fabric and my friend Amy Sinabaldi's fabric, then one in my Hometown Girl + a stripe from my stash.. SO FUN!
Many of you LOVE this traditional colorway. These are the colors one of the The Splendid Sampler™ final quilts will be made in.
And our other yummy quilt will be with colors similar to this curated happy fabric group!

Of course you do!
Leave me a comment by Feb 22 at 6pm EST telling me
Which bundle do you want to win
and what is your favorite color IN that bundle?
The winners are - Traditional - Beckie who said 'I love them both but if I have to choose, I would go with the Traditional Bundle, love the tan colors with the pops of peach & teal! I consider myself a fairly good but beginner quilter! I am so inspired by all the beautiful fabrics & patterns!! My Grandma Bunny who passed away 2 years ago, was a quilter and these colors remind me of many of the quilts she made for all of her loved ones! I hope I get to be the lucky winner!'
and Contemporary is Ethel who said 'Contemporary Red is my favorite. I am looking forward to sewing the January and February blocks of your 2016 My Secret Garden. Thanks, Pat!'
