Pat Sloan: Tips for Better Quilt Making!

((Tips From Pat)) When trying to figure out something new, a block construction, a new quilting motif, maybe even applique for the first time. Make a Sample to work on.

It is worth the time to do a sample because

you don't waste project time by undoing a mess
you don't waste fabric meant for your project!

I've been working on samples for an up coming book, this is one of the mockups I did. And my happy 'accident' was that I LOVE the aqua/grey!!

I'm using Moda's Bella Solids here
