So many of us have embroidery units on our sewing machines and don't use them, or are not sure what we can really DO with them. When I meet Sue O'Very and saw her work I knew she would be perfect to chat with about how to get started with embroidery that is so adorable you really WANT to learn!

I love clean lines and was immediately excited about Nancy Purvis's work when I visited her website. I love her approach to designing and that she has only been quilting for 3 years and has developed a style that people can recognize. We are going to chat about her process for designing, she is going to share with me why she likes to glue baste, and how she actually does that so she doesn't use pins, and we'll learn about her first book called 'Quilting from every Angle'!

I've been following AnneMarie Chany's quilting at her website GenXQuilters for years. We are lucky she can be with me for the 2nd half of the show today! We are going to talk about samplers, and skill building, unusual settings and the community of quilters with both enjoy so much. Plus we have some cool tips and we'll talk about her book Sister Sampler Quilts.
