A little walk through of how to sew the roof... i knew you'd want one! The pattern has ALL the sizes and Directions, so follow in the pattern for that (you get it here) In order to avoid flipping a triangle around the wrong way, lay the block out next to the machine as you sew Sew one side Press, this is important. Here is how I am approaching 'The Villages' (yes... more than on.. wink!) I decided to start with one charm pack of Lil Red and use it up, then I'll see how they look and decid on which charm pack will be next. Pat Sloan: The perfect use for your charm packs is found!

When Carrie Nelson was on my podcast Monday we talked about fabric lines and how to combine them (listen to us here). She sent over a photo of a quilt that I can't get out of my mind!
