My newest Aurifil thread kits are arriving at stores! I want to tell you what is unique about them.
I have both a regular size spool kit
and a small spool kit
And both kits have more than one weight of Aurifil!
Our go to weight of thread is 50wt.
The regular size box has 7 spools of 50wt in colors that work for piecing and for my applique
Then I added the thicker weights. Let's start with the next thickest
which is 40 wt on the green spool.
I also added one spool of 28 wt for you to experiment with
then 3 spools of 12 wt which is the thickest. I put in the best colors for embroidery.
The label on the bottom gives you all the info. 28/2 is for 28 wt, 2 ply

The small box has 50 wt and 12 wt.
