It's new years eve and I'm really enjoying all the year end review posts my friends, fellow designers and quilt shops are sharing. They are creating gorgeous collages of all the quilts they finished for the year... it's inspirational!
But I don't seem to be THAT type of quilter.
I don't have a project list for each year that shows all the quilts I finished (wish I did!)
I don't number each one (I have made over 630 quilts now..)
And I can't tell you how many pieces are in each quilt or give you any kind of stats at all.
That would be super cool if I did, but i'm just not that quilter.
Instead, on New Year's Eve and Into New Year's Day.
I will first..
START SOMETHING NEW.
that project on the ironing board with my cute little iron .. NEW!
This gorgeous book by my friend Amy of nanacompany.... NEW! (Buy yours HERE of a GREAT discount TODAY)
And to meet my goal of finishing more things.. this VERY VERY OLD UFO
will get it's binding, sleeve and label put on.
So I'm thinking....
Maybe I'll write that finish in my new planner (isn't the video GREAT!) BUY yours HERE
Should 2016 be the year I keep TRACK of my finishes?
In an organized manner, so that on this day next year
I can be one of the COOL kids and do a collage of my Quilt Finishes?
Leave me a note and let me know!
ps... Jump on into my classroom tonight for my annual Quilters' New Year's eve & Day Sew Along.. which I like to call a Luau as that is more fun
And check in tomorrow for my 'Word of the Year'
