There is nothing, and I mean nothing, better than seeing the final product of months of work. In this case, it's my newest book with my amazing publisher, Martingale!
My 32nd book is all about my favorite quilt shape of ALL time, the triangle! Inside I not only share with you my VERY first quilt, but also give you 13 EASY techniques for all the different triangle shapes!
I am going to teach you so much, plus there is a handy reference page so you can go there quickly. My Teaching series is designed to be used again and again when you need to learn or look up something.
Plus there are 12 projects in my book.
From table mats and a table runner, to wall hangings, throws, and a bed quilt.
All using.. you guessed it, Triangles!
Over the next few months I'm going to be featuring quilts from my book, tell you a bit more about them and show them in some different settings. I might even make a block or two in another color way.
PLUS I have a fun sew along for the book planned for 2016!
This is 'Boden', which means "messenger". This block is the first project in my book and it's they way to kick off the entire learning series with my 'message' that you CAN find ways that you love for making triangle units. And making them successfully!.
This quilt is made of Half Square Triangles (HST), or Triangle Squares they are sometimes called.
Inside I teach you several methods of making HST. So when you make the four-block quilt, you can test them all AND make a project.. bonus!
I really want to make this one into a full size quilt. It is charm pack friendly, which also translate into Layer Cake friendly! How is that? You can cut the layer cake into 4 units to make your own set of charm packs from it.. clever right?
Now for the good stuff! I've partnered with my wonderful friends in the industry and put together an incredible giveway package.
