Pat Sloan: what this means to me

I am one of the lucky people who, every 7 years, shares their birthday with Thanksgiving day. It's wonderful because on this day, the 4th Thursday in November, we all stop and reflect. Think about what we are thankful for. Remembering to do that is important to me. This year is 2 years since I asked if anyone wanted to send me a block for my birthday so I could make a quilt from them. The out pouring was amazing, and I am humbled.
