*** Free patterns & Tutorials from my guests Laura Torchio, Betsy Chutchian, Michelle Jensen, and Jeni Baker at the end!
I saw a news story about a 'street' quilt. A painted quilt in the streets of Montclair NJ. that High School freshman Haley Winstead created. She had the idea to do this as a community building art project for her Girl Scout Silver Award project. I'm delighted to have the Program Coordinator, Laura Torchio, with me from the 'Eat. Play. Live Better' to tell me how this all came about!

Michelle Jensen is a longarmer, pattern designer and now a new author! Her book is 'Little Big Stuff' pint sized play sets to sew with kids. There are so many great projects in here, it reminds me of my little kitchen set as a kid! She writes at Mixiheart, where you can see more of her fun quilt and sewing projects.
Jeni Baker is a designer with wonderful patterns, fabric with Art Gallery and now with a book out through Lucky Spool. I've always enjoyed Jeni's tutorials and patterns, plus she does amazing photography. And do you knit? She does too and often shares her latest projects at her website In Color Order! Can't wait to catch up with Jeni and she is going to share some HST making tips today!
Enjoy these FREE Patterns and Tutorials from my guests, be sure to thank them!
