I have been noodling the idea of making another Farmer's Market with a different colorway as we sew a block a month. I am in love with what I have, but I also think it's fun to make a quilt with a totally different option, so yes.. I'm going to do it!
But I need your help...
I want to do the border and sashings with a totally different set of fabrics than I used before. I love the fresh look of Aqua and Green together.
And you have to spread them out to REALLY see how they look.
Very yummy option. I can see using lighter shades of all the fruits and veggies. So instead of a deep purple eggplant, a light purple one.
But you KNOW I love red. And I do a lot of red and aqua, so how about Red and Grey? Using my One for You, One for Me Coneflower fabric as inspiration (also some here or here)
I gathered a group of cream and grey prints for backgrounds and border..
Let's see them spread out.
Here they are! WITH a dot, thank you very much I think I will.
Those lights would also work well with the green and aqua.
This is going to be super fun!
Which do you like, Green and Aqua
Or Red and Grey?
