What a pretty inside border to use on this quilt! Can't wait to get started on it - thanks Pat! I just love working on these mystery quilts you design!

I love salt water taffy, we always got the round ones. We would get our taffy at the State Fair when we were kids.

Salt water taffy is fantastic candy! My favorite is from the Sweet Palace in Philipsburg, Montana. The candy is made right there in many flavors, so it is remarkably fresh. Yum! It is not too sweet, not too salty, and remarkably chewy.

Love this block and love salt water taffy! I am the 7th of 12 children and my mom would make the taffy, pour it on a lightly greased platter and when it cooled off enough we all started pulling, so much fun. We would pair up in twos and mom would drip food coloring onto the taffy while we were pulling, 1 color each. What great memories....that was in the 50's, long time gone!

I love salt water taffy. I grew up eating it. The place where I was born in Maine called York. On the beach there they had a big place where they made it in a shoppe. They had a big glass window and you could stand there and watch this machine twist and turn the taffy. It would be like a pearl essential color and later they would add some color to it. They had to turn it so long to get it to a certain constancy (spelled wrong). I use to love standing there watching it be made.
