I am on my way to Mississippi to teach 3 groups for 6 days, wheee!! So EXCITED as I've never taught in Mississippi before (do you love spelling that as much as I do)
If you are close by I'm with the Mississippi Quilt Association and you can find out about the 3 events HERE

Traveling to your location is an amazing opportunity for me to see where you live and quilt. To meet you in your home town is an honor and the Shipping Department and I enjoy so much learning about your town!
I thought I'd share a few photos from an event I did last year in Maysville KY. They have the most adorable town. This is the quilt show, where else do you have chandeliers to greet you? It's called the Maysville Gathering and you can learn about it at their website maysvillequiltgathering.com

We found this little French Bistro. It was a bit cold in March, so we sat inside, isn't is charming? And the food and coffee was divine! I may have eaten there more than once.

The quilters who come to the Gathering are here for a party! I taught in the hotel and on the last day gave a talk. Many of the quilters came in for several days as a retreat.. one group sewed all night!
Don't they look like they are having a blast!

And the town has quilt blocks on the buildings.. not just on one or two building, but maybe 20 of them! A local artist makes quilt theme jewelry, and painted and installed all of these. I had the great honor to meet her at the gallery open house the one night. Learn about the Quilt Block trail here

And to top it off, yes.. An ADORABLE Quilt shop called Apron Strings. The owner is one of the show organizers, and the store is SO CUTE!
This is an example of one of the many wonderful small towns Gregg and I are invited to each year. We love visiting, enjoying and learning about your town!
I list the next few events in my newsletter.
You can invite me to come teach for your group here. See my Event Page
